The Creature has slithered out of the depths of Carvins Cove once again and is back with a vengeance. This year we will be upping the ante on production, prizes, and of course post race festivities. We're is super stoked at how well the Enduro turned out last year and has a few surprises for this year. As always long, hard, 42 mile XXC (XC Marathon) racing on the course deemed "The Creature" will be grueling, hideous, and wonderful.
Enduro (USA Cycling VA State Championship):
Saturday, October 19th 9AM
Day of Chip Pickup and Race Parking:
Sherwood Archery Inc 2720 Timberview Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019
Register:
Beginner, Junior, and 55+ Stages:
- Buck (to the creek crossing, no climbing in the stage)
- Gauntlet
- Royalty
All other Categories Stages:
- Buck (to the creek crossing, no climbing in the stage)
- Rattlin Run from the powerline break towards Bennet Springs Parking lot. Left on the Bennet Springs warm up loop
- Gauntlet
- Royalty
Chip timed with no start order. Hangout with your buddies and transfer at your own pace. The average rider will finish in about 4 hours. Come race enduro in the USA's second largest municipal park with over 60 miles of trails.
